We will be hearing from our very own Katherine Waugh. Kat is in the second year of her PhD. Her research uses oral history to examine experiences of industrial closure in County Durham, looking at how the memory of deindustrialisation crosses generations and continues to inform understandings of place, community, and politics in the present day.
