Does the concept of disruption offer any new perspective, and how do we recognise and define these disruptions? Does the term disruption have any genuine utility?\u00a0 Can we look at disruptions on a macro and micro scale?\u00a0 How do we deal with disruptions to scholarly narratives when new theories, interpretations, and material are discovered?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">We are seeking abstracts for papers of <strong>4000 words<\/strong>. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Historiographical Disruptions<\/li>\n<li>Material Disruptions<\/li>\n<li>Disruptions of Landscape<\/li>\n<li>Political Disruptions<\/li>\n<li>Social Disruptions<\/li>\n<li>Economic Disruptions<\/li>\n<li>Ideological\/Philosophical Disruptions<\/li>\n<li>Religious Disruptions<\/li>\n<li>Medical Disruptions<\/li>\n<li>Urban or Rural Disruptions<\/li>\n<li>Disruption of Memory<\/li>\n<li>Natural or Environmental Disruption<\/li>\n<li>Textual Disruptions<\/li>\n<li>Narrative Disruptions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Please send abstracts of 250-300 words along with a CV to Amy Shields (<a href=\"mailto:amy.shields@ncl.ac.uk\">amy.shields@ncl.ac.uk<\/a>) by 28<sup>th<\/sup> August.
