1st February 2010 - News update!

Following an amazing start to the academic year, 2010 promises to be no different! With the exams out of the way and the daylight hours slowly creeping into Spring mode, NUPC are wasting no time in arranging some fantastic new dates for your calendar! This term offers a number of new courses, a wind tunnel trip and some eagerly awaited socials! Whether you're a member yet or not, get yourself involved! Trust us, you don't want to miss out!

17th October 2009 - Course 2

Another successful weekend, with a load of first jumps from Course 2 (Congratulations guys!), and a few more jumps from some of Course 1! Well done everyone!

4th October 2009 - First course of the year!

21st September 2009 - Empuriabrava

We're all back from our trip to spain, and what a trip it was!! Pictures to follow! Congratulations to Tom D and Oli for getting their 200th jumps done and to Tom O for nearly getting to 400!!!!!

16th June 2009 - Progression Week

Another cracking progression week down at Peterlee, Bruce got his 200th with a mankini tracking jump and Craig hicks almost got his Cat 8!!

Everyone else got plenty of jumps in, making the best use of the Turbo-Let!

20th January 2009 - New Year, New Course.

Welcome back, hope you had a good holiday and the exams didn't go too badly for you all. Course 3 is booked and is filling up so if you want a place email us as soon as possible to get your place secured. The dates for this course are the 6th and 7th of February. Also for you already trained members Peterlee Parachute Centre is open again so feel free to go down and continue with your RAPs Progression. Starting next week also our weekly meetings in Spy bar on Mondays will re-commence, come along all members welcome, anytime after 8pm. Our Tuesday lunch meetings in Global Café from 12pm will also be starting again, come along to buy jump tickets or just for lunch. We also have an upcoming BCPA Event which involves going to both to a wind tunnel and a drop zone. 28th of February is the date, which involves going to Bodyflight Bedford for the Windtunnel and Skydive Airkix at Sibson for the dropzone, this promises to be a massive party of skydivers from all university clubs.
