Subscribing to the mailing list gains you access to a constant stream of information from the club, but does not make you a member – once you are ready to join the club, membership is granted after payment via the NUSU website. Follow the relevant link on this page to become a member of Newcastle University Parachute Club.

Ready to jump?

If you're ready to join the club and begin your training towards becoming a fully qualified skydiver, membership can be obtainined via the NUSU website. Follow this link to go to the clubs and societies membership page, where you can log in with your university credentials and pay the registration fee of just £165. For this, you will have full membership to the club for the year, and will recieve:
  • 8 hours ground training
  • Your first solo skydive from 3,500ft.
  • Transport to and from the airfield
  • Overnight accomodation and breakfast
Membership also includes access to all club transport to and from the airfield and any trips (to other dropzones / windtunnels etc.).

Already trained?

If you're returning to the club as either a qualified skydiver or as someone midway through progression, you need to rejoin the club anually. This can be done by following this link to go to the NUSU clubs and societies membership page and select the returning members fee of just £10. Membership enables jump subsidy (for those still completing RAPS progression jumps) and access to all club transport to and from the airfield and any trips (to other dropzones / windtunnels etc.).
