Bicycle Parking

The medical school has a covered secure bike parking area in the William Leech basement. See map opposite. This is available for use by all staff. The facility requires a key for access which can be collected free of charge from the Estates Office at 7 Park Terrace. Lost keys will be subject to a £10 replacement fee.

Other bike parking (mostly outdoor racks) is available around the campus, as on the parking map.

Cycle Rental

WhipBikes have bikes around the campus that can be rented for single journeys (from Oct 2010)

There are 2 bike sheds in between CARU / MR centre and Biogerontology. Key available from reception of either. Keys are free, but £10 charge for lost keys.

Surveys

A survey was carried out of cycle facilities and ease of access on the main campus in 2008. BUG members were also canvassed for their views on cycling facilities.
